1.    Physical addresses for our ticket locations (Often needed for  GPS directions).

We often get this question and because of the quirks of the River Walk addressing, sometimes the online maps don’t get them quite right.  Here are the addresses, and a Google map with place markers showing their exact location.

Rio San Antonio Cruises Google Map

a.     Clearwater: 849 E Commerce 78205 River Level

b.    Historia: 706 River Walk 78205

c.     Aztec Theater:  201 E. Commerce Street, 78205, River Level

2.    Do your tours go into the Museum Reach?

a.      Currently, only our Rio Taxi service goes into the new extension of the River Walk.  Though there is no formal tour, the tour guide can answer questions about the River Walk and art located in this beautiful new section along the ride.

3.    Do we need to make reservations for tours?

a.     Reservations are not necessary for our public tours. The tickets are not time specific and they leave our docks every 15-20 min

4.    Can we print tickets online?

a.     You may order online after which they are printed in our reservations office and are either shipped Fed Ex or held at our Will Call box at our River Center Mall Location.

5.    What kind of discounts do you offer?

a.     At our ticket locations, we offer discounts to Bexar County residents as well as seniors over the age of 60 and military personnel.  All qualified customers must have an ID to redeem a discount.

6.    Why aren’t there any public tours for the North Reach?

a.     We currently support the Museum Reach with our Rio Taxi service and they have information that they offer about the art installations under the bridges.  Normal tours in that area will mostly likely go into effect when there is a larger demand.  Please submit your suggestion; we’ll be sure to note your desire to get tours started up in the Museum Reach.

7.    Why don’t you have a canopy on the boats?

a.     Canopies may work on larger heavier boats, but because of our desire to keep our boats energy efficient they are light and therefore do not have a canopy.

8.    When are you going to start taking pictures again?

a.     We are always taking other opportunities under advisement however we currently have no plans to change the formula that has kept our services speedy and of the highest quality.

9.    Are pets allowed on your boat?

a.     We allow only service pets on our boats as we strive to keep the narrated tour experience as universally enjoyable to all.

10. Where on your websites does it show prices for the tour and taxi?

a.     Each section of our website has its pricing below the type of service.

11. Are scooters, wheelchairs and strollers allowed on the boat?

a.     Yes, we try to accommodate most scooters.  At times larger scooters are  not able to load due to the size of the ADA area designated on the boat.  Wheelchairs and strollers are always allowed though we ask the guests to fold their strollers and place them in the back.

12. Do you have a better map for the Downtown and the Museum Reach?

a.     What information was it that you were seeking that the map did not quite provide? We are currently revamping our map with more info in a universal format.  We would love to have your input so we make sure to provide the information you need. Contact Us

13. Can I board your narrated tour at the Lock & Dam location?

a.     The Lock & Dam is an information/beverage station only.  To board our tour, please visits any of our other three locations.
